3 credits This is a seminar in which there is disciplined reflection and critical analysis of the students' teaching experience in EDU 4196N. Student teachers also focus on solving classroom problems that stem from teaching diverse student populations, including gifted and talented, students with disabilities, and from various socio-economic and cultural environ ments. Prerequisites: EDU 1021A, EDU 1081A, EDU 1140A or SMP 1032A, EDU 3127N, EDU 3128N, EDU 3146N, EDU 4150A, (EDU 1160A and EDU 4149N, if seeking middle childhood certification); LIB 1101N; PSY 2016A; a minimum of 30 credits in content area; 6 credits of foreign language; and a minimum G.P.A. of 2.5.
