3 credits The francophone literatures and media of Quebec, the Caribbean, Sub-Saharan Africa, and the Maghreb are considered in their cultural con texts. Students compare and contrast colonial and post-colonial experi ences of these traditions and examine linguistic differences arising from those experiences.
