3 credits Theory and practice are brought together to enable students to man age classrooms effectively, plan for individual needs, and design instruc tional programs which integrate the seven areas of general knowledge in the State Learning Standards. Students develop competencies associated with new roles for teachers in the 21st century, and demonstrate analyti cal, critical, and reflective thinking skills as a foundation for continued professional development. Prerequisites: EDU 4113N, EDU 4114N, EDU 4115N, EDU 4149N; and a minimum G.P.A. of 2.5. Corequisite: EDU 4197N. Offered: 2008 - 2010.
