3 credits Provides participants with prevention and intervention strategies to protect children from harm, covering issues such as the impact of culture, heritage, socioeconomic level, personal health and safety (including AIDS and other STDs), nutrition, abuse, neglect, and environmental dangers upon children's behavior and learning.
