3 credits This course provides students with the knowledge and skills to teach elementary science effectively. The course reviews the concepts and processes of elementary science and how these can be taught through a variety of methods. Emphasis is placed on "hands-on science" and howthis approach can be implemented in the classroom. Prerequisites: EDU 3103N, EDU 3104N, EDU 3146N, and a minimum G.P.A. of 2.5. Corequisites: EDU 4113N, EDU 4115N and EDU 4149N. Offered: 2008 - 2010.
