3 credits This course provides a hands-on and application-oriented approach to visualization and 3-D computer graphics. Topics include the computer graphics and visualization pipelines, visualization algorithms, data repre sentations, basic image processing, visual perception, and applicationTs of visualization. This course presents introductory as well as more advanced topics on visualization. Under the guidance of the instructor, students will have the opportunity to further explore a visualization topic of their choos ing by completing a course project. Prerequisite: CSC 2025A.
