3 credits This course introduces students to the theory and practice of teaching mathematics in the elementary school. Students are provided with a variety of "hands-on" techniques to become effective teachers ofmathemat ics. Emphasis is placed on planning, implementation, and evaluation. Prerequisites: EDU 3103N, EDU 3104N, EDU 3146N, and a minimum G.P.A. of 2.5. Corequisites: EDU 4113N, EDU 4114N and EDU 4149N. Offered: 2008 - 2010.
