1 credit Laboratory accompanying CHM 1002. Experiments are performed which illustrate the chemical properties of matter. Experiments include kinetics, equilibrium, solubility, and acid/base reactions. The second part of the laboratory is based on qualitative analysis where the student applies the knowledge learned during the first sequence of experiments to a qualitative analysis scheme. One laboratory period a week. Prerequisite: CHM 1003A. Corequisite: CHM 1002A. Offered: Spring.
