3 credits This course will explore, in detail, present and planned air traffic management technologies from a qualitative and quantitative point of view. Topics will include traffic separation principles based on distance as well as time, four-dimensional profiles for departure, enroute and arrival procedures, and additional advanced topics as they are formalized by the NASA/FAA Joint Planning Office.
