3 credits The primary purpose of this course is to provide students with an opportunity to gain the knowledge base associated with using the strategies, methods and techniques of structured analysis and structured design for producing logical information systems specifications and for deriving physical systems design. Topics discussed include: conducting stakeholders' needs analysis, using business modeling methodologies and developing language constructs to create specification requirements in the development of information systems.
