3 credits This course explores factors that influence the increasingly complex, dynamic, and competitive marketplace within which the international air transport industry functions. It involves the study of the air transport industry's structure, its historic and current regulatory framework, market ing, operations, finance, and the effective and efficient utilization of air craft for the transportation of passengers and cargo. This course provides the student with a comprehensive understanding of the integral parts comprising the international air transport industry. Prerequisite: AER 1002N. Recommended prerequisite: ECN 1001A. Offered: 2008 - 2010.
