3 credits This course will cover the structure and function of the human brain and associated elements of the human nervous system. Topics will include in-depth study of neural signaling, sensory input, and motor output, mod ification of neural circuits and complex brain functions. There will also be a focus on neurological disorders and disease. This course is designed to allow for interdisciplinary enrollment and is suitable for any student inter ested in the health professions or work with the neurologically disabled.
