3 credits The course will be focused on the fundamentals of flight and airplane performance. Aerodynamics topics will include airflow classification, dimensional analysis, governing equations, airfoil and wing theory will be studied. Airplane static flight performance factors such as climb, takeoff, range, endurance and turning flight will be studied. Prerequisites: PHY 2025A and MTH 1022A. Offered: 2008 - 2010.
