An exploration of the beliefs and practices of Judaism. Careful reading of classical Jewish texts and participation in Jewish religious services constitutes the major component of the course. Upon successful completion, students will have an understanding of Judaism as defined by sacred time, space, and leadership. Students will also be able to engage in a variety of contemporary issues pertaining to Judaism. Offered alternate fall terms.
