A course providing instruction in basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation, first aid, and first responder concepts and skills. Upon successful completion, students qualify for a "completion card" in basic CPR and first aid, using theguidelines of the National Safety Council. In addition, students receive more in-depth instruction in preparation for the associated certifying examination, also using the guidelines of the National Safety Council.
