A seminar course in preparation of secondary pre-service teachers. Students will be able to understand issues related to curriculum development, national and state standards, assessment, classroom management strategies, school law, special needs students, multiculturalism, applications of technology in the classroom, parent-community relations, and other related topics. This course supports the concurrent practicum experiences and special methods courses. Prerequisite: EDU 211, 221, 325 or permission. Offered spring term.
