Focuses on pedagogical concerns and strategies for teaching sociology at the college level. Designed as a workshop to enable students to actively participate in creating and cultivating a teaching self. The professional role is a dual one involving both the creation of knowledge through research and the dissemination of that knowledge through teaching. Designed to acquaint students with some of the major educational and professional issues associated with college and university teaching.
