Includes exploration of how literature can reflect (or distort) culture. Special emphasis on the works of marginalized authors (women, indigenous writers, etc.). May not be taken for credit by students who received credit for SPAN 370. Conducted in English. Knowledge of Spanish/Portuguese not required.
