Designed to assist non-native Spanish speakers in their continued development of Spanish language skills necessary for upperdivision study. Intensive review of grammar with emphasis on contrastive features, interference from English and other specific areas of Spanish typically problematic for non-native speakers. Through reading and viewing of modern texts and media, special attention is paid to oral and written language development across a number of Spanish language registers. May not be taken for credit by students who received credit for SPAN 311A. Conducted in Spanish. This course should be taken concurrently with SPAN 302. Enrollment Requirement: SPAN 202.
