Intensive practice of oral communication skills at the advanced level. Through group discussions, oral presentations, skits, roleplaying, and other communicative activities, students will develop skills and strategies for effective oral communication in Spanish. Course includes introduction to cultural factors affecting verbal and non-verbal communication in Spanish. Intended for non-native speakers of Spanish. May not be taken for credit by students who have received credit for SPAN 205. Conducted in Spanish. May include a service learning component. May be repeated for credit for a total of six (6) units, but only three (3) units may be applied toward the Spanish major. Enrollment Requirement: SPAN 202.
