The Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers course covers core material such as adult and pediatric CPR (including tworescue scenarios and use of the bag mask), foreign-body airway obstruction, and automated external defibrillation (AED). At the completion of this course, students will have the opportunity to become certified in BLS under the guidelines set forth by the American Heart Association. Course may be repeated once in order to maintain certification.
