The general objectives are to understand the U.S. health care system within economic, cultural, and political contexts. Focuses on the changing nature of health, health-care systems, and implications for public policy in health-care systems, and implications for public policy in health and medical care. May not be taken for credit by students who have received credit for ECON 481E. Prerequisites: ECON 301 and 303.
