Covers the basic principles of weight and volume measurements, solutions, suspensions, colloids, osmosis, energy of biochemical transformations, buffered solutions, the properties of acids and bases and pH balance in the biochemistry of human body systems. Intended for students pursuing a degree in a health-related field. Content is identical to CHEM 100L, except that CHEM 100M is delivered in high school classrooms. Co/Prerequisite: CHEM 100.
