Supervised work under the direction of a faculty member on an original research project. Although student-initiated projects are acceptable, in most cases students will be expected to work within a faculty member's active research area. These courses are repeatable. However, no more than a total of nine (9) Supervised Research credits may be counted toward the computer science major. prereqs: declared Computer Science major, perm instr. and dept. 1-3 hrs, 1-3 cr.
