Basic course for those wishing to develop skills in painting. Through a series of projects beginning with a simple thumbnail and enlargement, students will consider composition, the ordering of space, the illusion of depth, and the interaction of color through value balance and color mixing. Projects Include acrylic paintings, pastel paintings, murals and refined drawings.
