In CHEM 1405 the basic concepts of chemistry are introduced with minimal use of mathematics. Laboratory (three hours per week) experiments are correlated with lecture discussions. For non-science majors. Laboratory use fee required. CHEM 1407 is a continuation of CHEM 1405 with emphasis on the applications of chemistry in our contemporary world. For non-science majors.
