This interdisciplinary core course addresses theories and concepts from a variety of disciplines as they pertain to the health professions. Emphasis is on interdisciplinary professional practice and includes critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, change, systems, stress, crisis, learning, health promotion, and caring. This course includes a service learning component. Prerequisites: Admission to the professional program or permission of instructor. Theory 3 hours; Laboratory 0 hours.
