This course explores nursing concepts and theories to promote, maintain, and restore health for the adult client. Adult human-environment interactions are interpreted within a dynamic health continuum of wellness to alterations in wellness. An experiential learning practicum is provided to enhance the student's ability to promote an optimal level of health for the adult client within the expanding health care environment. This course includes a service learning component. Prerequisites: NR 3433, NR 3435, NR 3445; concurrent with NR 4333, NR 4334. Theory 4 hours; Laboratory 6 hours.
