Advanced study of a specific problem in community and diversity. A different topic will be announced each semester offered. The seminar is designed to develop research and analytical skills specific to community and diversity, and students will have the opportunity to do original research. Prerequisites: Six credits in American studies, three at the upper-level, or permission of the instructor. Notes: Course may be repeated for credit for a maximum of six credits when topic varies, with permission of the department. Highly recommended: One or more of the following courses: AMST 310, 372 or 380.
