Introduction to statistical computing and statistical computation packages: BMD and SPSS. Multiple regression and correlation analysis, analysis of variance and covariance, non-linear regression, contingency table analysis, design of experiments, and robust and non-parametric methods. Prerequisites: STAT 350 or 351, 355 or 453, or permission of the instructor. Notes: Approved by the Society of Actuaries to satisfy its Validation by Educational Experience (VEE) in Applied Statistical Methods.
