Offered by the music and theatre departments, this interdisciplinary workshop will explore the theoretical, performing and technical aspects of the production of music theatre. The course focuses on a specific work, with students examining the social, political, visual and aural history of that work and its place in the genre of music theatre. The result of these studies is a fully mounted and staged production that is conceived, designed, constructed and performed by members of the workshop. Students from all disciplines are welcome. Prerequisites: Auditions or interview. Notes: Repeatable for credit.
