In-depth study of polynomial, rational, exponential, and logarithmic functions and their graphs. Includes the fundamental theorem of algebra, systems of equations, conic sections, parametric equations, and applications in geometry. Exploration of the graphing calculator. My be taken concurrently with MATH 123. Prerequisites/placement: Successful completion of MATH 121 (C or higher) or minimum college algebra COMPASS score of 55, or math ACT score of 25, or math SAT score of 570.
