Mathematics major or support; at least one upper-level course completed; departmental consent - The student applies her communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities to a concrete work situation. The offcampus project offers the student an opportunity to integrate the theoretical mathematics background she has acquired through coursework with the varying needs of the workplace in fields as diverse as business, manufacturing, engineering, medical research, or the insurance industry.
