BI 231; BSC 215; CH 113; CM 156Q; CM 212; N 250; BI 251 and SSC 101 completed or concurrent; for transfer students, IN 130 - In this course, the student begins to learn care provider and related nursing roles. She develops the basic skills needed to conduct a comprehensive assessment to measure the health of individuals, families, and communities and to develop a plan of care to facilitate health promotion and disease prevention. The course requires independent practice of physical assessment procedures.
