Prereq. MU 102 or MU 151 - The student learns the basic techniques for performing on percussion instruments: snare drum, bass drum, timpani, cymbals, drum traps, and mallet instruments. In addition, techniques for drum circles and ethnic percussion are explored. Each student demonstrates mastery of proper percussion technique for each instrument.
