PCM 170; PCM 200 or PCM 230 completed or concurrent - Through production and engaging text-based activities, the student builds a solid foundation of multimedia and web software knowledge, design techniques, and problem-solving strategies for creating effective digital media messages. She adapts communication models to guide her projects and learns how audience diversity in mass and micro media contexts, media history, ethical-legal issues, and technical systems influence message design and user/audience interaction.
