Prereq. PED 150 or PSY 110 - The student studies the major theories, significant research, and methods of treatment related to personality development and/or behavioral disorders. She has the opportunity to improve her communication skills, social-interaction ability, and understanding of contemporary issues. A required field experience enables her to observe and become more familiar with community treatment facilities and mental-health programs.
