This Dash-hosted one-day field trip visits Chinatown, Olvera Street, Union Station, the Arts district, Little Tokyo, Central Market and the Financial district. Students are introduced to urban setting observation tools used to grasp and record the unique social patterns of each visited zone. In addition, students are immersed in the local cultures of these areas via window shopping, lunch time, snack time, walking and the experience of riding on the Dash system in downtown Los Angeles.
