Introduction to principles and practices of public relations including advocacy for their organizations, informing and persuading key publics about the goals, programs, products, and issues associated with their organization, maintaining favorable public opinion of the organization, promoting understanding, managing conflict, and building relationships between their organization and the public. Also covered are media relations, with specific attention to media/information management through strategic initiatives targeted at business/financial, electronic, and print media.
