Students also have the opportunity to acquire and demonstrate skills needed for follow-on courses in algebra or descriptive statistics. Topics include: arithmetic and problem-solving, basic units of measure, geometric applications and elements of algebra. MA 100 does not apply to General Education Core Curriculum requirement for the major, but does apply to minimum graduation requirements.
