It will cover the historical background and methodologies for studying organization characteristics and environmental conditions that impact the formation, growth, survival and decline of organizations. It includes the study of how size, structure, technology, life cycle, and organizational culture affect a firm's ability to change and develop. Career implications of these topics are also explored.
