This course is designed to teach principles of Object-Oriented (OO) programming using Java. This course will cover the Java programming language syntax and OO concepts, as well as more sophisticated features of the Java runtime environment. Additional topics addressed will be the Java programming language's implementation of graphical users interfaces (GUIs), multithreading and networking. This course is offered as part of the SUN Authorized Educational Alliance. Prerequisite: CIS 242 or CIS 251
