Continues the study of General College Chemistry I (CHM/CHL 181). Includes chemical equilibria, kinetics, solutions, acids and bases, complex ions and coordination compounds, redox reactions, thermodynamics, nuclear chemistry, and brief introductions to organic chemistry and qualitative analysis. Three hours lecture, three hours lab, one hour problem-solving and quiz session. Prerequisite: CHM/CHL 181.
