This course will provide an in-depth consideration of criminality, including the etiology (origin) of crime, and the extent and nature of crime within American society. Theories of criminality and crime will be reviewed, as well as societal reactions to criminality. This course also examines forensic criminology and criminal profiling (behavioral evidence analysis).
