(5 cr hrs) (2 hr lecture-3 hr clinical course) Focuses on the role of the baccalaureate nurse as a leader/manager in the promotion of adaptation for human persons, families, groups, communities, and society as a whole. Emphasis on theories of administration, organization, management, and leadership as applied to the delivery of healthcare for adaptive systems to promote adaptive vs. ineffective responses in the four adaptive modes. Prerequisites: NURS 300, 310, 330, 440. Pre- or co-requisite: NURS 350, 390, 430.
