3 hours for Intermediates: Grammar and Writing A course for learners of English who place as high beginners or as intermediates in the ESL placement batteries. The course involves work in all 4 language skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking in English in order to build the student's level of language proficiency. Students who place as intermediates take 3 hours per week, and high beginners take five hours per week. Language lab work is required. ESOL 080 does not meet the General Educational Requirements in English. Lab fee.
