2 hours Prerequisites: PHIL 201, EDUC 220 or 221, 225/226 or 235/236 or KINE 245; admission to Teacher Licensure Program A comprehensive survey of the historical, philosophical, psychological, and sociological foundations of American education. Emphasis is placed upon the educational foundations as found in the Scriptures, and the applicability of these to both the Christian School Movement and the public school system. Students will be expected to articulate their personal philosophy of education as a result of this course.
