3 hours Field Study This course is a predominantly on-site investigation into the institutions, processes, and practices of criminal justice in various foreign countries. It seeks to examine the historical development of criminal justice, the crosscultural and economic impact of international crime, and competing notions of justice, crime, and punishment. This course is offered annually or bi-annually, as needed. Summer term only. Lab fee.
