The student, in cooperation with the department chair, will research a specific area of interest in urban ministry. This will include on-site visits as a practicum, with interviews and actual experience in the field of research. Areas of research may include, but are not limited to: the inner city church; rescue mission ministry; transitional living programs; drug and alcohol rehabilitation; parachurch organizations in the inner city; and the delivery of social services.
