(3 hours.). The United States has always been referred to as a 'melting pot' withpeople from all cultures residing throughout. In addition to being a capable communicator with different cultures within the U.S., managers must also be able to interact with individuals living in other countries. As the U.S. becomes more and more ethnically diversified the world is becoming smaller through technology, e-commerce, and political interdependence. Even small businesses need skills in multi-cultural communication to understand the complexities of business and culturally specific practices.
